This horse was 23 when he came to the Fischer Equine Lameness Foundation. He was diagnosed with severe string halt. The horse’s vet suggested he be euthanized or a permanent pasture pet. The horse was unable to be used due to his lameness/string halt. (click on the thumbnails for enlarged view)
After Trim
After rehabilitation at the Fischer Equine Lameness Foundation the horse is now 100% sound and in full time work. He is shown successfully in hunter pleasure, western pleasure and games. The horse is also in a full time lesson program.
